I elected to go the Travel Inn in Rutland VT per the advice of the Expedia representative when arriving at the hotel they did not offer any rooms with two queen beds. The Expedia representative stated at that time that Expedia would HONOR any hotel cost I accrued that evening. After driving around I was able to find a room at a Holiday Inn for $218.90. I was on the phone with the Expedia agent during check in while she spoke directly to the hotel clerk. I was ensured that Expedia would handle the cost and provide a $25.00 refund for the time spend driving around, which they did. Noting that I already had driven 40 miles past my destination to save on my hotel cost. Now I have been charged twice for the benefit of using Expedia.
