The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi tribe located near Athens, Michigan are now well known for their latest development of the modern vegas style casino named FireKeepers. Although the property lacks luxury it does in fact have an extremely high service rating being in the valet service areas. We have visited FireKeepers many times commuting to and from several New York and Las Vegas venues and will have to say hands down FireKeepers Casino has possibly the best valet service in the country and would rank on the world level. Once you hit the property you are met with smiles galore. The staff working there really seem to enjoy their jobs which is a great source for the treatment we recieve when passing through. One area lacks pretty hard thou, you would think such a great place would provide you with a hotel and a place to rest your head, FireKeepers does not at this point. When we questioned Joseph a manager in valet he reassured us that the best was yet to come, indeed sometime in the fall FireKeepers is projecting to open it's fabulous hotel which will offer the same great services we recieve now and even better according to Joseph. When we asked what the difference is compared to other properties Joseph replied "People simply have bought into the idea of creating the best guest experience possible and we have the greatest team that consists of a diverse group of hard working extremely ethical people that just want an opportunity to do something great with their professional carreers, FireKeepers and the NHBP happen to offer that opportunity and we have taken full advantage of all opportunities provided and we are just getting started". The electricity that my husband and I felt from Joseph and his staff really made our time inside that much more exciting and enjoyable. You just do not find resort style services in the midwestern areas, Michigan of all places like at FireKeepers. We are excited to visit again and our family now will be visiting shortly, take care of them FireKeepers.
