I recently got invitated to a job interview for a valet attendant position at the seminole hard rock casino in Tampa. What I've experienced, seen, and went through was too much to just ignore. The hiring manager was so disrespectful, bad mannered, rude, and unprofessional. She was speaking to job seekers as they weren't human beings.
My job experience consists of a mixture of hospitality and sales. I could say that I've been providing customer service for a good 8 years. The whole process of that interview was a discrase to the hospitality domain. The hiring manager refused to give me the open position because my school won't allow me to work Tuesday and Thursday, knowing that I was able to work the rest of the 5 days up to 40 hours.
As a matter a fact, I have another friend of mine that went through the same disrespect and discrimmination few days before my interview. This manager is abusing the little power given to her. She mistreating her employees knowing they can't seek out jobs anywhere else because of the slow economy.
