I went in to return a defective product. He would only give me store credit, and while I knew that was a possibility, I wanted to push a little on that because what he sold me was a piece of crap that broke immediately upon use and I felt he should stand behind his product and give me an actual refund. Well, Willy got snotty and disrespectful toward me immediately. He showed me the return policy and said, "in case you can't read." I told him not to be offensive and he accused me of offending him. I may have been angry and it may have shown on my face, but I said NOTHING disrespectful or offensive toward him. He said that the crappy, cheap zipper on the plastic bedbug bag broke due to "operator malfunction. He responded to the angry look on my face by saying, "Oh you're not going to give me that look are you? It's been a long day! (in an extremely rude voice). He bragged about the store's return policy and kept saying how gracious he was for agreeing to give me money back on the unopened item (another bedbug bag I thankfully didn't open), even though that's the store's policy. He tried to make me feel guilty for keeping the products for "weeks and weeks" because he couldn't sell them while they were in my possession, even though I was returning them within the required 25 days of purchase. When I asked if he was the store owner he said, "It depends on who's asking." I said, "I'm asking." He said, "I don't see how that's relevant." I asked, "Are you the store owner or arent' you?" He kept refusing to confirm or deny, repeating that it wasn't relevant. He did all of this in front of another customer. He acted not like a businessman/store owner, but rather like a petulant, immature 17-year-old who WANTS to get fired. I've never seen such belligerence, disrespect, snottiness, and out-and-out rudeness before. I had to call the Ridgedale Center branch and talk to another employee to find out that Willy is, in fact, the owner.
