At Southpoint Ripoff Manager-Owner Angry rude owner would not refund glasses that caused headaches Would not produce refund policy

Two years ago (I'm still angry!) I tried to refund a pair of sunglasses I had bought the day before. They were giving me headaches, and I just didn't like the way they looked. The woman at the register was going to refund them until the owner realized what she was doing. He came over and told me I could only make an exchange. I asked to see his refund policy, and he got loud and belligerent with me. He told me that if I didn't want to exchange, then I needed to leave the store.

Other customers in the store were shocked at his behavior, and all (4) of them left too.

I then called the other nearby Specs on 9th St. Near Duke's campus and they said they were happy to refund the glasses, that I didn't even buy in their store. I was so happy with their service that I did exchange them for another pair that cost twice as much.

This owner was so rude and shocking, that I'm still angry over this after two years. Please don't support such a person, use another store.
