I was traveling on some business with my company in july of and I needed a place to stay. I saw a ad in the newspaper for furnished rooms with kitchens and livingrooms etc.
I made the terrible mistake of checking into a place called STUDIO PLUS of MAUMEE, OHIO,
What I know about STUDIO PLUS is it is part of a chain of hotels called EXTENDED STAY HOTELS. Their corporate headquarters are: 100 dunbar street, SPARTENBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA 29306.
I found out to late that they are notorious for lack of customer service and filthy buildings with unclean rooms, noise, parties all night, drugs, etc.
During my short stay I witnessed many section 8 and welfare families living here, each had at least 5-7 litters of children that played soccer and camped out in hallways til midnight.
Parties and noise. Beer cans lined the hallways and parking lots.
The room I was given had spider webs that looked like they were their since the building was built! Also, I saw many rat or mice droppings in the kitchen.
The room where one welfare family was living had a strong smell of marajana coming from it and so did all the hallways!!!
The so-called manager, his name is, "CHAD KRESS" is a rude, useless, spineless weasel who surely should not be managing a hotel or any other business. Perhaps he should be making tacos at taco bell!
The staff acts the same way. Because there is no management at all!!!
Garbage in the stairwells and hallways, filthy carpets in rooms and hallways.
If you complain about anything you will be asked to leave.
Please stay away from this hideous place, "STUDIO PLUS" IN MAUMEE, OHIO
