April 26 will make one year. We did everything we thought was right so there would be no problems when we book our reservation to stay at westgate.
The reservations was made, we received a confirmation to stay at the westgate villas because we are taking our grandchildren and the villas are closer to some of the activities and attractions we wanted to enjoy with the grandchildre.
My husband likes to keep abreast on want is going on with things.
So he called westgate to make sure everything was in order.
Lord and behold, westgate informs my husband that we can not stay at the resort unless the maintenance and taxes are paid.
Our maintenance and taxes are not due until may 1.. Our vacation is april 24-28.
My husband and i talked to fernando who is the supervisor at the main office where we inquired about our reservation.
Fernando said don't worry we will have no problems. We ask that a fax be sent stating that there will be no problems.
We have not received no fax and fernando is now saying give him another week to resolve this matter.
Tickets are bought and everything is in gear for this vacation.
We even paid $116.00 because we weren't staying at our resort. Fernando kindly told us that this was not refundable.
Our vacation is a little over a month away and we have no where to stay when we get to orlando.
Our contract does not state we had to pay maintenance and taxes before they are due if we want to stay at the resort... This is the complaint in short version.
