I can not believe a company does not care if their employees steal from their customers. After arriving home from a trip my baggage had been opened and things had been stolen, one item was valued at 325.00 dollars.
Then Continental says the item is not covered on their policy for reimbursement. I do not care what the item is, if it was in my bag and stolen from my bag by their employees... It should be covered. They said the FAA decides what is covered or not. I don't care and I know they have the power to take accountability and make any exception they want.
I'm sure this is considered a guideline and not a law. Come on I don't think they would be breaking a law by covering an item that is not on the list posted by the FAA. They just do not want to be held accountable.
