Awful experience - Customer Service

I spent $2,000 for tickets on Orbitz and will NEVER use them again. Requested seats - traveling with a 12 year old. NO SEATS and after a phone request and an HOUR on hold, I still did not have any guarantee of seats and was read a stupid script. DO THEY THINK WE'RE IDIOTS? Then unable to check in with these tickets. Ticket agent at United said Orbitz tickets are awful to work with. More hours on hold and husband paid $109 to get me seats even after I've paid for that paid through Orbitz. Another hour on hold and scripted responses to get seats for return trip. No supervisor after a long hold. Called back and someone finally got seats for us. Not worth my time or money to use Orbitz and will certainly not recommend them to anyone I know.in fact, I will persuade them to use anything but Orbitz.
