On July 23rd, 2oo3 my wife and I went to a travel seminar presented by Vacation Adventures to hear what they had to offer. They represented Travel Service Network, a so-called travel wholesaler. When we heard everything they had to offer we spoke to a salesman and he convinced us after about an hour of negotiating to sign up.
This was the biggest mistake of our lives. Everything they promised was a lie. Prices that no one else can beat because they are the largest TRAVEL WHOLESALER IN THE WORLD! Cruises and trips for 50% OFF. Hotels for 50% off. CONDO WEEKS STARTING AT $199.
We also won a free trip (that seems like it won't happen because the dates we picked are "unavailable"). We have attempted to use the condo service on two separate occassions. We were told that there was a 95% success rate on condo availability. So far we are 0 for 2. We have been waiting to hear back from them for 3 months regarding availability in Hawaii.
Much to my surprise, when we tried to call Vacation Adventures and contact our sales person, the number was out of service. That was also the case for Vacation Adventures main phone number that TSN had listed. Don't wast your time with them. They are not any different than AAA or any other travel service.
