On 2-13-04 I had an important phone call that I was waiting on and never received it. I later called the individual (my husband) via calling card to see what the problem was. He said the clerk that was working the desk that morning between 7-9 am would not allow any more phone calls through because she thought there were too many phone calls going to that room.
The clerk then asked my husband why he wanted to talk to me! That information in my humble opinion is none of the clerks business. My husband was trying to reach me in order to tell me the outcome of my child's temperature and was trying to keep me updated with it. My child ended up in the hospital and I didn't know it until hours later. I paid cash for that room which included a telephone in the package. I should be able to receive phone calls to my paid in full room.
I confronted the clerk upon check out about the phone issue and she asked what are you going to do about it? Then she laughed. I wanted to physically remove her from behind the desk but decided that would be illegal.
