I booked a four-hour, three winery tour for 3/21 and pre-payment in full with credit card was required at the time of booking. Three hours prior to the start of the tour, the owner called my hotel in Galena, IL, and left a message with the desk clerk. He didn't ask to speak to me, and he had my phone number, so I can only infer he was avoiding speaking to me. He cancelled the tour, citing a family emergency. Additionally, he has a NO REFUND policy, and would not return the $130 fee. I called him back and he continuously stated, "no refunds" and then hung up on me. He has not replied to a follow-up e-mail either. Therefore, he did not perform the service as promised, and has kept my money. The $130 needs to be refunded immediately.
