These people called me and I was sold. I was told that all I had to do was look it over when I received the package and if I didn't like it just cancel and I would still get the free trip. I was never told that I only had 30 days.
Needless to say I received the package a couple of days before the deadline for the cancelation and I was out of town. There was not a postmark on the envelope so I couldn't tell when it was sent.
I immediatly called the 800 number to cancel the membership and all I received was a busy signal and to try and call again later. I have been trying to call these people for over a month and still no response. I sent the package back with no reponse and I was still getting the twenty something dollars taken out of my account. So I get on their website thinking I can solve it that way. Right!!! I was told that I would be billed $96.00 per year but, when I got on thier website it says that the activation is $40.00 and then I would be billed $19.73 a month which, according to my math is $239.40 a year.
This company is a rip off. Do not do business with them. To this day 11/20/03 they are still trying to debit my account. I guess I should have been more wise when she only wanted to tape part of our conversation.
They also called me and put the membership in my husbands name without even talking to him. So if you are thinking about it "Do not do business with these people".
