Very dishonest company. We booked a vacation rental 4 months before our vacation and had to cancel due to a job loss about 2 months before our vacation. We followed every rule this company posted in order to get a refund (which was only a moderate amount) and they have tried every trick in the book to get out of giving us our refund. I called the owner himself to make the original cancellation and documented the call. When we didn't get our refund, I called him again and he claims he never spoke to me: how else did I get his first and last name and know he was the owner? They have told us they lost the paperwork, couldn't find our address (although they verified it previously), someone else was handling it, it has already gone out in today's mail, etc. Etc. We sent them a certified letter and it was signed for by the owner; they have never responded. There are MANY other rental companies in Gatlinburg that are honest and do an excellent job; we will have to sue Gatlinburg Real Estate LLC/Gatlinburg Chalets in order to get them to give us our refund.
