Best Western Wilderness Trail Inn
I got hurt at their hotel

On May 29 I stayed at Best Wester for two nights. On May 30 I got hurt due to a loose bed rail that due to the blankets covering it I hit and suffered an injury to my leg that was not only painful, but also broke the skin. I reported it to the front desk she looked at my leg and sent someone to that room to fix the problem, and said she was sorry. On the next morning, checkout time, I informed the desk clerk that I was still hurting really bad, she again said she was sorry and all she could do is take my number and have the manager call me. I got no such call, I called customer care they instructed me to call and speak with the GM, I did. She told me she would have to call owners and call me back. I finally went to Urgent Care, they told me I had no broken bones but I need to see an orthopedic Dr. Because she believes I may have hit a nerve, tendon, or something that due to the problems I was having that I was having mucsel spasms. I called customer care again and they informed me to send the Best Western in Barbourville KY a copy of the bill. On July 2, I recieved a certified letter from that hotel telling me that because I didn't go to the Dr. Their before I left that state there was nothing they could do (I live in TN) but they would give me a free room next time I was in town. I then faxed them a letter stating that going to a Dr. Wasn't an option their desk clerk offered, that the only thing she offered was for her boss to contact me, I also faxed them a copy of the bill from Urgent care and I get a call that same evening from their manager Tammy, I think was her name, telling me that she was on my side, but caught in the middle because she knows my sister and wanted to turn it into the insurance, and that she is trying to work something out for everyone and needed me to re-send the bill. Well I've not heard another word from them, I'm still having some major pain and spasms, and limping. I have no medical insurance and still need to see an orthopedic Dr. I contacted Customer Care again and I tried to get the name of Best Western in Barbourville KY's insurance companies name and they were not alowed to disclose that information, so now what do I do. I hope you can help.

Thank You, Sheila Camargo
