Bahamas Celebration Wrong Ticket Pickup Information Given

I purchased a 2 night cruise from Caribbean Cruise Line to the Bahamas, I even paid an upgrade with a window view. I have had a very bad gut feeling from the moment I hung up the phone with them after making the nonrefundable reservation. I called a few months later to confirm everything and I was told that I would receive some sort of paper work confirming my trip as the departure date came closer. I was okay with that but asked that they review everything with me. I found up that my room was upgraded with a portside view just as requested but then I was told that their was bunkbeds. I told her I wanted two level beds that could be combined together. And I was told that would be an additional charge. I don't particularly feel comfortable giving this company any more money so I declined the upgrade and figured I wouldn't be in the room often anyways.

Called again to confirm because I finally got my cruise information in the mail. I see that they moved their port from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach area. We are required to pick up the tickets in Fort Lauderdale and then drive an hour north to West Palm Beach. I wasn't happy with that but I figured not a huge issue.

I called again a few weeks before our cruise to see what was the earliest time I could pick up our tickets in Fort Lauderdale at their Ramada Inn Welcome Center @5100 N. State Rd 7, Ft Lauderdale 33319. On that call I was told that I could no longer pick the tickets up in Fort Lauderdale that I would be picking them up from the Port, 1 East 11ths St. Rivera Beach FL 33404. Great!!! Its just easier to go to one place instead of driving all over Florida to get the tickets to get on board.

The day before my cruise (which is tomorrow 5/8) I call again because I thought I had misplaced the Port address. I call to ask for that information again and I was told that I was to go to Fort Lauderdale!!! I remembered that I had emailed myself the correct address and pulled that up immediately while on the phone with the reservation people. He told me that their was nothing that he could do that getting to the port was my issue. Which I agree but I had called weeks in advance to make reservations to stay in Fort Lauderdale to be able to pick up the tickets. I asked to speak with his supervisor but of course Addriane (male) was not available. So I left him a voicemail. I have yet to hear anything back from him but I most likely will not hear from him at all.

This is my first vacaction in over 10 years with my husband and I already regret booking with this cruise line. I am planning on going on the cruise tomorrow because its already been paid for. I hope and pray that the ship and its crew aren't as shotty as their landbase customer representatives. I will update everyone with the status.

Do your self a huge favor and spend the extra 150 bucks and go on a cruise with a reputable company. Its a vacation, its supposed to be fun, not a nightmare!
