They will Not refund your money

I booked and paid for a cruise 5 months in advance - according to the terms and conditions if you cancel your cruise 2 weeks before the departure date you get 1/2 you money back. 2 weeks before my departure date I had to cancel my vacation and called Carnival — they said I would only get the taxes back ($39).. When the money wasnt returned to my cc card I called again (after the cruise ended) they said I didnt cancel my cruise so I dont get any money back — Carnival must be in such bad shape they have to rip consumers off
