My wife and I recently purchased land in Fort Lauderdale and are looking for an airlines to frequent. A friend suggested Spirit Airline. We were happy with our flight services from Boston to Fort Lauderdale.

Departing from Fort Lauderdale to Boston Flight No. 610 scheduled for 7am on December 16 was delayed approximately one and a half hours. The pilot informed passengers that he was waiting for the maintance log, preventing us from take off on time. This unnecessary delay caused me to miss an important appointment in Boston.

If this delay was due to weather conditions we would be most understanding, but we hold Spirit Airlines responsible for our untimely departure. We do not wish to conduct future business with a company having little reguard for customer service.

I could overlook this situation and reconsider Spirit Airlines frequent flyer program if we were compensated appropriately.
