Royal caribbean cruiseline credit card only cruise we got was the one back home in a taxi

After viewing an advertisement online by Bank of America wherein they promised royal points toward a royal caribbean cruiseline cruise by obtaining a royal caribbean cruiseline credit card from bank of america, i excitedly applied—my daughter was soon to graduate high school with high honors and i wanted to surprise her with a cruise... I rec'd the "royal caribbean cruiseline" credit card from bank of america and soon afterward booked a cruise with royal caribbean cruiseline on their website for my daughter and myself... Money was tight in our household as i was supporting my two teenage children as well as myself on a secretary's salary but sacrifices were made... I booked the cruise via royal caribbean cruiseline's website, as they had written on their site that if you purchased the air/sea package, royal caribbean cruiseline would do everything to assist us in the event of a flight delay, cancellation, etc. And get us to the port/ship on time. Low and behold we never made it out of our home city/state because on the very first leg of our trip, our flight was cancelled indefinitely and even though i called royal caribbean cruiseline's customer service from the airport several times, their representatives absolutely refused to help us whatsoever... We were at the airport for 6 or 7 hours trying to get royal caribbean cruiseline to help us before finally going back home... To say we were devastated is an understatment... The planning, the excitement, and the anticipation of this cruise had all been for not... My daughter had found that there were several other airlines that had flights/seats available for us and would enable us to get to orlando to meet our ship via her laptop, but royal caribbean cruiseline refused to investigate the airlines for possible seats and flights for us... We went home and contacted the airlines for possible reimbursement to my credit card for flights not taken and they were kind enough to credit my bank of america credit card... I found, however, that royal caribbean cruiseline had grossly overcharged us for these flights when they arranged them for us... I contacted bank of america and told them that i was disputing the cruise charges by royal caribbean cruiseline to the tune of nearly $4,000 and filed the necessary paperwork, but bank of america refuses to remove the nearly $4,000 from my bank of america credit card bill... I've contacted bank of america several times by phone, e-mail, letters, faxes, etc. And the flatly refuse to dispute these $4,000 charges by royal caribbean cruiseline to my credit card account because, they say, the events were out of royal caribbean cruiseline's control... I disagree, since royal caribbean cruiseline clearly states on their website that when you purchase their air/sea package they will do everything possible in the event of a flight delay, cancellation, etc. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! I've contacted royal caribbean cruiseline and their representative just about slammed the phone in my ear. I've also contacted the better business bureau, the attorney general, the federal trade commission, etc. And have been provided no relief of these charges. I guess the only thing left to do is not pay them, but i have an excellent credit rating and worry what that will do to my status... How can this happen?!! This is clearly a case of false advertising by royal caribbean cruiseline and since bank of america is the holder of my royal caribbean cruiseline credit card isn't this a conflict of interest? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! Royal Caribbean Cruiseline will not even grant us another cruise of equal value to compensate us for our loss... Since bank of america advertises for royal caribbean cruiseline by allowing their ship and name on the credit card and the card is, in fact, a bank of america credit card, i hold bank of america responsible and will forever demand they take these charges by the cruiseline off my account and not hold me liable for said charges.
