ICare Timeshare called repeatedly about listing my Kissimmee Timeshare, and I initially refused them, but they were relentless. I figured, "if they worked this hard to get my business, they'd work at least as hard to sell my timeshare, right?" WRONG! The day they get your money is the last day you ever hear from them. Repeated calls to their sales department yields variations on the same old song: "We have some clients who are interested, but they can't get financed", or "We had some clients who were financed and ready to go, but the rates went up, and they backed out", to my favorite "the clients were approved for financing and were ready to tender an offer, but WE deemed it too low, and didn't want to insult you by presenting it".
Sound familiar?
Their symphony of the same old fiddle would be interesting if not played loudly on the same note, and out of key at that. It should be noted that your sales representative (who originally took your order) is conveniently away from their desk, and frequently won't return your phone calls, should you leave a message. It's usually some poor sap at the "help" desk that has to relay the above news as to where your account is. Key figures with the company (Sales managers or owners or someone higher up their food chain) are never available, either, usually tied up in sales meeting for several hours. Which is all well and good, but clearly they don't feel the need to extend a courtesy of a return phone call, either, as I've yet to receive one.
If you've a burning desire to throw away your money, call me and I can help. But to give it to a Timeshare resale company... Ehhhh, not one called ICare Timeshare.
