WARNING: Complaints about ANYTHING at Motel 6 causes RETALIATION by Motel 6 (France's Accor Corporation)!!!
DO NOT STAY at MOTEL 6 - unless you're willing to accept MAIDS stealing food & wine from your room, broken toilets, broken TV's, Drug-Dealers, Wi-Fi issues or drug-dealing & all night Prom Parties!
Recently on August 4th I had the DISPLEASURE of staying at the Motel 6 in Dania Beach, Florida - where the clerk & Motel 6 Reservations agents NEVER advised me ahead of when I arrived - that the motel's credit card machine was broken & to bring CASH ONLY!
And this BROKEN CREDIT CARD machine and lack of prior notice - was despite my prior calls to both Motel 6's reservation line & the motel desk itself prior to my arrival - requiring me to dig out every $1 bill I had in my wallet after midnight - as I just flew in from Denver - where I had previously stayed at a Motel 6 in Aurora, Colorado for almost a month - without problems - except minor Wi-Fi issues that were quickly attended to without any fuss by the Aurora, Colorado Motel 6 & Motel 6's internet techs!
But when I dared to call Motel 6's guest relations on August 5 and also talked to the motel manager about the internet problems & credit card problems on the morning of my check-out - I was then BANNED from ALL Motel 6 & Studio 6 locations - because of my daring to mention these issues to Motel 6's Guest Relations Department!
Motel 6 has already displayed a PATTERN of RETALIATION against me for reporting other serious issues about Motel 6 locations!
Last year I had maids from Studio 6 in Coral Springs, Florida STEAL wine, cheese & butter from my refrigerator at a Studio 6 motel there!
I even have the e-mails from the Coral Springs Studio 6 manager admitting the thefts & his offer to reimburse me - prior to Motel 6/Accor management stepping in to forbid the reimbursement!
And these THEFTS are in addition to double-charging me for nights stayed - as did the Motel 6 in Ft. Lauderdale - whom Visa made refund charges to my Visa card for double-charging!
Also, after one night last year at a Motel 6 in Lantana, Florida - with a broken TV & broken toilet in my room - and after I complained to Motel 6 guest relations - I was then BANNED from renting at that location anymore!
But now, I've apparently been banned from ALL Motel 6's & Studio 6 locations - for daring to SPEAK UP about THEFTS, broken TV's, toilets, credit card machines & Wi-Fi issues at Motel 6 locations in Florida - where Motel 6 joins a Florida trend of poor service & surly attitudes if you report their short-comings!
I've also endured drug dealers, all-night high school prom parties & other issues at the Dania Beach Motel 6 in prior visits - and a night where I went to my assigned room - but another member of the motel staff apparently had allowed someone to stay in my room without paying or registering!
But now I've been told that I'm 'UNSAFE" by Motel 6 management???
Unsafe to what - Motel 6's desire to hide significant issues at motel 6 locations that I've given over $10,000 dollars to in the last year or so - while most motel 6 locations seem to be without significant problems - compared to the motel 6 locations in South Florida!
