Trilegiant claims that we signed up for free three month trials, which we did not sign up for. We have no use for the so-called "discount" services in their Great Fun, Travelers Advantage, AOL/Travelers Advantage and Dinner On Us Club programs.
They provide no independent service; they are a marketing operation. Yet, they charge high annual fees, probably on the theory that some consumers won't detect them. I would like to hear from other consumers whom they have charged, for a class action suit. I have been hit by three different programs operated by Trilegiant, each of which said I had signed up for their free trial membership, followed by large annual fees.
