I stayed at this hotel from June 8th through June 12th on a business trip. Thursday, June 11th, I did not wear my watch or bracelet to work. I left it on top of the dressser. While I was at work, the house keepers came in and cleaned my room. I came back from work Thursday and my Movado Watch was no where to be found. My bracelet was still there and the room was cleaned.
I called the front desk and they said to call back in the morning. I called in the morning to report my $900 watch missing and was directed to the House Keeping Voicemail. I have left 4 different messages in the past 3 days and still no one returns my call. I spoke to the manager of the house keeping department todayt and she immediately started defending the house keepers saying, "They never take anything."
Her English was very difficult to understand. She informed me that a manager will call me back. Not only was this an expensive watch, but it also had sentimental value to it. Do not stay at this hotel! Unless you want your personal items stolen. The customer service is terrible. The staff clearly does not care about their customers. They cannot even return a voicemail.
