RAMADA VACATION SUITES ripoff deceptive company false promises

If you want to be abused and lied to, take a trip with these people. The Ramada Vacation Suites are a joke. The only thing "suite" (sweet) about this vacation is for the time share people who are making money trying to sell you there properties. Ramada Vacations and their employees should be ashamed of themselves. I was very much in need of a vacation. When the information came in the mail, I thought this looks good. Having been in sales for many years I knew looks are often deceiving. I called and spoke with several employees, asking every possible question I could think of. Seems they had an answer for everything. (I even looked on Ramada's Internet site at the pictures of their Ramada Vacation Hotels and thought I would be staying at one of these picture perfect hotels.) Well, sounded like a legit deal after all, but still not ready to buy they gave me the 3 bonus trips (Standard) and offered a choice of 3 more mini trips (also standard deal) and 18 months.By the end of our conversation, Ramada Vacations had offered me the 3 bonus trips, 6 mini trips, the free rental car (standard too) and 3 YEARS to take all my trips. OK, I'll have to think about it. Have to make a deal today, they say. Need $698.00 NOW! Well, $87.00 later and they were holding my Ramada Vacation Package and I could call them back and pay the rest after I spoke to my sister. (She would have to pay the same). We decided to give it a chance. We both lost our husbands a couple of years ago and both had been working very hard to keep up with all our bills. We really needed a vacation badly. All the arrangements had been made and we were off to sunny Florida and the Bahamas. We arrived in FLA went to the car rental to pick up our FREE CAR that ended up costing about $100.00 bucks (more money for additional licensed driver, a bit larger car, gas, etc.) Drove to pick up vouchers and get itinerary. Drove to hotel. WHAT A DUMP! I had paid additional for upgrade to ocean front hotel! Was across the street from ocean, dirty nasty hotel. Called and complained, sent me to another hotel. Little bit better, not much. OK it's already 5 P.M. Arrived in FLA at 10 am, tired and hunger now. Sure, I'll stay here. Next day have to go for required "1 Hour Presentation" at 1:00 in afternoon. Right smack in middle of day, now second day of vacation wasted! Waited almost 45 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. Hours later finally get our passes for cruise! Go on cruise, very small ship but pleasant. Crew was very nice, very good food and great people onboard. Now back for one more night at previous hotel and off to Orlando. Now don't forget to pay all the taxes for hotel. (Range from $20 to $32 a night. Not included in $698.00) Check in at very nice Ramada in Orlanda, want you to go through whole thing again, said NO. Enjoyed a couple days there. My suggestions, book you 2 day cruise to the Bahamas yourself, find your own hotels. I am going to try one of these free trips however since I paid for them. Now that I know their program I know what to avoid. I will report back after that. Merri Eastpoine, Michigan
