My Fiance and I received a call from Employer number kb9856 on March 3. She was So Exited to tell us the good news. She kept going on and on about how much fun we will have on our Honeymoon in the Bahamas.
WE WON A FREE CRUISE this woman tells us. Normally I am very sceptical but because we did register at several places for our wedding I thought I would listen to what they had to offer. I knew I would have to pay something or some tax or whatever but I wasnt prepared for what happen next.
This person told me at the beginnig of the Phone call "not to worry about anything" that we were selected for a Cruise on the Majesty and stay at the Ramada Hotel FREE. How is it FREE? I asked. She said that all we had to do was tell everyone that we know ho much fun we had on our Cruise. That's it.
I was on the phone for over 30 minutes writting down everything that she told me to. I have to admit it was a pretty extensive package. Then she tells me now all we need is a major credit card to verify registration. I ask like what my age or someting.
Then they hit me with all the CHARGES and the FEES... Over 700.00 bucks. Im like oK well we are going on a Honeymoon anyways this is still not a bad price for what they are offering but I am a little upset about the BOLD FACE LIE... I calm down and realize that this is still a good deal and we did want to go on a Cruise for our Honeymoon anyways so I ask is there a secure place online that I can enter my card at because I didnt want to give it over the phone. She actualy LAUGHED at me. I told her that I have been a victim of ID theft and that I am interested but I want to place the order on a secure site.
She says WOW sarcasticly and tells me that the offer will not be good if I leave this phone call. She never would assure me that this was LEGIT.
By this time she is Laughing and hangs up. I did not bother to call back I thought that I would try and help people out by not supporting them.
