I am so sorry we did not read up on these people before we went to their presentation. We have been to many timeshare presentations seeking a good one to sign up with, but had always had the wisdom to walk away and sleep on it. I asked about the cancellation policy and was told it was a $399 admin fee. They lied and did not tell me about the 15% "restock" fee that would also be charged. They were also sneaky to have us read all the docs but went through the cancel policy page very quickly.
Adam and Adrian are so so smooth. Like I said, I vary rarely fall for gimmicks and did not see this one clearly as they are so good at their game.
Anyhow, they also lied about the discounted rates we would get for cruises, and air/room deals.in his presentation, Adam was giving us rates at about 50-75% off rack rates. It sounded wonderful - the first vacation we could afford in 5 years. However, I read that others when booking complained they could only get about 25% off rack rates. I also read in our fine print that is all we should expect, not the great deals they quoted us when signing up.
We canceled the very next day we could and asked for a full refund but of course did not get it. I am seeking to find how many others have been duped like this too - I would love to get a class action suit going!
