Airline Ticket Booking Internet Scam

Priceline.com kicked me off their site AFTER I input my credit card information for a plane ticket for my mom and then increased the price when I returned to the website.

This is a scam because based on information from other people, they can then resell the ticket if I do not use it. Imagine this happening to hundreds of people a month and the money that Priceline.com makes when this happens! They have no concern for customers just the money and screwing you over. All I needed them to do was fix their mistake and put the correct name on the ticket that I KNOW I put down while booking the ticket. I didn't want a refund, but they did not care.

The past four weeks have been distressing, disappointing and stressful because Priceline puposely kicked me off their site while I was booking a flight for my mom with my credit card. When I went back to the site surprisingly my credit card information and address were still there, but the price of the ticket increased $10. Although I was not happy about the increase, it wasn't much so I continued booking the ticket.

Even though I KNOW that I put my mother's name in as the passenger before I was dropped from the website the first time, Priceline.com put my name in as the passenger. After speaking with numerous people about what happened to me I was encouraged to file this complaint because it is a SCAM. I won't get into the letters, phone calls and emails that I made to Delta and Priceline to fix the problem, but I will say that the money you save booking with Priceline is not worth it. I have told everyone I know about my experience and shown people the emails and letters that I have sent to have the problem corrected. Why in the world would I book a ticket for myself flying out of another city!

The customer service people at Priceline are miserable, nasty, rude, hateful people who have no concern for customers AT ALL. If they screw you over it's your fault and not theirs and that's how they made me feel. This experience has caused great stress and hurt as my mother was not able to visit me for Christmas, and I lost the money for the ticket. PLEASE tell everyone you know about my experience. DO NOT book with Priceline.com.
