Today, Nov 1. I received the appealing voucher and decided to purchase the wonderful vacation offer. After speaking with a sales person, and I asked many questions, I received different answers and they had to confirm with other people. I went ahead and purchased it for $798.00 charged to my account. Stupid me, I did not check on the interest first.
At 2:00 P.M. I made the purchase. I decided to cancel after IMMEDIATELY research on the internet. I called back and Spoke with a NANCY, Philip Riley ID PL0002 and nicely requested a refund. I told them I would think about it and after reading the reviews, I did not feel comfortable with the purchase.
I was told I had to wait a few minutes becasue they were too busy since I said I was NOT going to get off the phone until they credit my account. I keep holding until I could speak to a manager, NO available. I spoke to a NANCY who eventually was very rude and said "I WILL CALL YOU BACK IN TWO HOURS". I never received her call. I called back in two hours and was told to call customer service.
The first time, I was also told to call customer servcies which claim they are open from 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. But when I called before 5:00 P.M., a recording played again that they were open from 8:00 - 4:00 on saturday but no one picks up the phone. I am not FRUSTRATED! I called my credit card company and asked the this charge is NOT put through!
However, they did post the charge. What kind of company is that that they can sell you something and you call back the same day and they have on one to credit your account.in addition a NANCY person is RUDE and actually hangs up on you!
I surely do not want to go on this cruise now! I want a credit and will fight to the end! This is abusive to consumers! In any event, I will CALL AGAIN ON Monday, November 3rd to find out if they are going to credit my account.
If they DON"T SORRY, BUT THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY WAS INFORMED AND THEY WERE INFORMED TODAY THAT I DO NOT WANT THIS OFFER. I refuse to get treated this way and pay for something I don't want. I deserved an immediate credit.
If this is not taken care of, they will see themself on YOU TUBE AND THE NEWS. I recorded every word and video tapes the conversation and the response I received including the HAND UP FROM NANCY!
Rude, rude, rude!!!
You guys are my witness that I requested a cancellation this same day of purchase which is NOVEMBER 1.
