Worldwide Travel Center
Red-tape, Fine-print type Rip Off, Scam, waste of time, fraud of donors' hearts

My experience was nearly identical to another usacomplaints.com person's from Texas.

I also saw numerous other complaints online by doing a google search for "Worldwidetravel and Scam"

I donated to Kars4Kids who should be ashamed of creating expectations of a free hotel stay for people's donated cars.

The person who came to pick up my car had no idea about the travel voucher. They did not even tell me to send in the registration to dmv saying the car had been donated and when I asked they told me not to worry about it on the kars4kids support line. They also took over a month to send me the travel voucher and I had to call them 3 times.

The travel voucher first of all does not say anything about a free stay in the terms and conditions. It also says you have to pay them 50$ and give them your credit card number. They say the 50$ is refundable, but the other guy from texas said that wwtc told him he would be given back his 50$ by someone during his trip.

Hmm, sounds like the timeshare presentation rope-a-dope to me.

Also, you have to chose from 3 destinations, none of which are guaranteed, one month in advance of travel. The terms and conditions also say they can substitute any location if they run out of room where you requested.

I quote:
"All room accomodations are in a hotel or motel in the resort area and are subject to the avialability of Worldwide Travel Center's room allotment. During peak seasons, conventions, holidays or when Worldwide Travel Center's room allotment is full, Worldwide Travel Center reserves the right to substitute a different premier resort location."

Most of the certificate is this type of legal jargon.

Thanks, Texas guy for the tip.
