Like many other reports I've read on this site, I too donated a car to Kars4Kids with hopes of a free 3 day 2 night hotel package and I received a voucher from WorldWide Travel Center. They required a $50 check made to WorldWide Travel Center, which has already been cashed according to my bank. They told me I would need a credit card to hold my reservation and a check for $50 to secure the room. Although I argued with the lady on the phone about that being absured, she had no brain, and just repeated what was written before her. After the go around several time of them telling me there were no rooms for the city I requested, I finally got a reservation in San Fransisco. My wife and I drove up and when we got there to the hotel the clerk found our reservation but they told us the room was not paid for. I refused to pay, showing a copy of my voucher and confirmation, since World Wide Travel booked the hotel. Now I cannot get my check back.
