I booked a hotel room at the Microtel Seaside for 2 nights. When I arrived at 6:30pm the room was dirty and the Hotel itself was in disrepair. I went down to the front desk to get a refund and leave for the Shilo Inn, when I was greeted (grunted at) by the desk clerk. He was missing all kinds of teeth and looked like a drug addict.
I was informed that they would not refund me for the 2 nights. The next day I called the bank to do a chargeback and was informed that the hotel added $250 dollars for a pet I never brought in, and $200 for a bedspread totalling the charges to almost a thousand dollars!
Do not stay at this hotel.
