In June I was contacted my IMP-Majesty, of couse as you know went throught all that crap with them on the phone, KNEW it was a rip off, but decided to hear the end of it. At the end, which was the end for me, I could not believe this myself, but I thought "hum, this is a pretty good deal they are offering". I asked them many questions such as if there will be any fees and taxes on the boat or hotel, and they said NO.

So, I went and gave them my credit card number. Then... I go to RIPOFF report and read all about them, and I call my credit card company, and they told me that EVERYONE who purchases this "cruise-deal" CAN get a refund, because according to the laws in Florida, if the customer asks for a refund, it must be issued within 30 days. You can ask for a refund by registred mail, make sure you get a tracking number. That was, they cannot say they did not receive it.

They kept calling me and BEGGING me to take the trip, however I told them I will not be doing that, so they issued me a refund... But the story does not end there. Apperently, when they charged me in June, the Canadian dollar was much lower than American and I ended up really paying 521.00 instead of their American rate of 490.00.

Anyway, I get my refund, of course, in TODAYs exchange, which comes to 489.00. So, I end up losing 30 bucks, which pissed me right off... So Canadians, please be careful with IMP majesty and make sure the exchange rate suits you better when you get the rufund. So don't listen to those pesky sales people, and believe me you can get a refund, maybe not a full one like in my case but at least you will get something back.

FOr a refund just follow these instructions:
1. Call you bank, tell them of the scam, they will already know IMP Majesty cruiselines and will give you instructions how to proceed with the refund.

2. If you just spoke to IMP Majesty recently, call the credit card company and tell them YOU LOST you card, that way, IMP Majesty will not be able to withdraw funds from you card, since they take them off 2-3 days after they close the deal with you. This gives you enought time to "report" your credit card as stolen, then you can avoid step 3,4 and 5.

3. Write a letter to IMP majesty telling them a reason why you want you refund. Here you can get all our anger out and tell them how much you hate them, and wish that it was them going down instead of the trade centre. Make sure you let them know that you know the laws of Florida regardign the refund. Also state how much they charged you exactly.

4. Take the package they've sent you and put in an envelope with you letter, and send registered mail with a tracking number.

5. Wait till the bastards call you to beg for your change of heart. Here you can really express to them how you feel. =) Of coarse, expect to be hung up on, apperently this is normal customer service at IMP majesty.
