My NYC Apartment LLC is a registered LLC in Cary, NC. Their registered address is 314 King George Loop., Cary, NC 27511. They offer vacation lodging in NYC and advertise at www.nycvillageapartments.com and through craigslist.com. We engaged them for lodging in May of 08 for June of 08. The contact for My NYC Apartment LLC, "Marc Anthony Russo" was prompt with initial communications and requested that we send either through paypal, money order, or wire transfer a deposit, roughly half of the money required for a 4 night stay. I wire transferred him the money. Exactly 3 days prior to our stay, "Marc told us that our apartment had a problem with it and would try to find us lodging, but that we should send refund information. We sent him information needed for a wire transfer refund but did not hear back.
After returning from our vacation Mr. Russo begins telling us that he will refund us the $800 using communications such as "will do." But he never does. After sending emails indicating my desire to persue this in other methods he says he is out of the country and that he will refund when he returns. He indicated an exact date as the date he would wire transfer the refund. That date passed without a refund.
This guy is either incompetent or a scammer. Either way, do not do business with this company.
