Ok... So i recently, and happily, left Ramada Plaza Resorts. I am a former employee... And was until i read a lot of the reports on here and would drive home feeling ashamed of myself. The vacation they promote sounds like a good deal. It is actually. If they were throwing people in the slums of south florida. On Commercial and HWY 441 at their 'resort'. When i found out that was the ramada we were promoting. I literally laughed out loud.
I had to leave. Everyday being told 'just tell ms. Williams to go to her purse open it and and take out her credit card and make her read the 15 digit numbers from left to right' was not how i had imagined helping people take a great vacation at an excellent price. I felt horrible. I would dread going to work and hated telling friends where i worked like i had 'ramada schemer' stamped to my forehead. I would try SO SO hard when i had customers on the phone to actually do it MY way... Which meant actually being polite and telling them about the vacation and not forcing them into buying it. I put myself in customers shoes. If they said ' nows not the time' i would politely say...'yes maam i understand' and get in trouble for not being aggressive. Excuse me. I do have some dignity and morals. They cut payroll checks that are handwritten with no pay stub. So listen people. You arent the only people being ripped off THE EMPLOYEES ARE TOO... Its the management and owners we need to go after..
BTW they hide behind their corporate name Pinnacle Force... We're forced to say we work for Ramada Plaza Resorts almost as if we are puppets protecting them from lawsuits. I am truly amazed at the turnover they have too... There was maybe MAYBE 5 people that were there before me and were when i left. All other 60 people come and go every week. OH YEA if they talk you into an outside stateroom on the cruise. Its a stateroom with a hole in the side of the ship that you can look out of one at a time... IF they glass is clean and not foggy. Dont pay for that... The cruise for just 59 per person port taxes IS the ONLY good deal you can get from them do not upgrade do not take the extended stay...
ORLANDO's resort is nice... But your rental car... Is not... Ft. Lauderdale resort is scum. And take advantage of the VEGAS and Puerto Vallarta vacations if you have already bought the package because they do not own those resorts so you will have a nice stay in those destinations. Hmm. What else. Im so HEATED ill def. Add more. Any questions just ASK!!! Oh yea they are in NO way affiliated with Ramada INN! Ramada inn is very nice. Ramada plaza resorts are franchised!
