Today April 29th would be the expiration for my travel certificate. I have payed $25 each year for the last 2 years in addition to my $75 that was also paid. I was told I could postpone my trip with a payment of $25, which I have done for military reasons. My mother as well has paid $50 to them to postpone and $150 for 2 people a few years ago when this all started.
At any rate. I called today to see if they had gotten my letter and check for $25 because unfortunately due to deployment and other life situations, I can not go right now either.
The phone number was disconected.
I would have not been surprised had this happened 2 years ago. But the fact that i have spoken to these people for the last few years is pretty unsettling.
I am glad I did not make any travel arrangements and come out of pocket even more, however it is disappointing that these people were a total fraud and i have used money that didn't have to be spent thinking after my family was able to come together from military deployment among other trials and tribulations that we'd get to have a nice vacation.
Wishful thinking I suppose.
