Diamond Holiday Telemarketing Vocation Package Rip-Off
I am one of many victims of this scam.
They don't care who they screw!
Two years ago, Diamond Holiday made a phone call and try to tell me that I am a lucky winner to win a trip to go to Bahamas for two, including cruise for 2 and 3 days/2 nights hotel. All I have to paid is $45 application fee. So, I sent them the $45.00
After a week or so, Diamond Holiday send me some form to register to go to Bahamas, and the form quoted that each person cost $99 for the port tax. So, for two people is going to be $198. Is mandatory to paid for it 60 days prior to the cruise day. So, I paid for that $198 as well.
About 2 weeks before we are about to go to the cruise. Some Diamond Holiday staff called and said they will charged $100 to upgrade the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel comes with the package is going to be shitty kind of hotel. Then, I started realized that they are having all different kind of hidden cost and sur-charges.
I decided to ask for money back. They said I have to write them a letter to explain the situation. Then, they have to charged $25 for their paper work processing. After about 2 months, they sent me $172 back, but orginally I already paid for $243 in total plus we ruined our vacation time staying home and mad at each other.
