Time 10:45 pm I had tried to use Delta's on-line booking. However when it came to the page in putting in my credit card, it kept coming uo "Unable to verify your credit card'. I tried several times with both my debit and credit card, same response. I had a quote of $477 for three tickets $159@
I called Delta 1-800-221-1212, They told me to check with bank, in which I did and they informed me they had "9" inquires, and they had appproved them all. They told me something was wrong with Delta system, because you have already been approved.
11:15 pm till 1:25 am, yes I held on that long, because I wanted to speak to a supervisor. Finally got a "coordinator" who informed me ticket price had increased. I had been holding on the phone since 11:15 pm., they even verfied the approval from the bank, but there system was not accept it. They said they could book it at $585 or 195@.
They verfied I was on hold a"very long time", they verfied the approval from the bank, but then they stated "Prices are subject to change", "that price is no longer available... I was on hold the whole time. I could not belive it... What a rip off.
I wonder how many times they use that line to rip off customers, while they are on hold.
I went to Airtran, booked my flight on line, no credit card problems, went through in less than five minutes for the $477, $159.00@ for three tickets. Same price I tried to book under Delta.
It's 2:30 am in the freakin morning... Something stinks at Delta, no wonder they are in financial trouble. I am telling everyone, they are CHEATERS!!!
