In October 06 Bill Elis called from Timeshare Solutions stating that he could rent my timeshare. I was to send $99 and he would organize the rental. When a rental offer came through he was to contact me and we would move on from there. There was not contact. I did call to check on the deal. I left messages. No reply was offered. I knew that I would never get my $99 back.
Last night (2/21/08) I received a call from Bill Elis representing Resort Resales. He said we had talked previously and remembered me because of our discussion of an old TV show. I reminded him that he offered to rent my time. He dismissed that and told he he could sell my 87,000 points for $13,920. I put him off and told him I needed to do some research and that we would talk again.
After researching, everyone do beware. Resort Resale does not have a business license and has an unsatisfactory record. They do not honor contracts. Other usacomplaints.com indicate much worse stories.
Buyer beware!
