My daughter was re-routed through Frankfurt airport on an international flight. Even though she speaks German, airport help was poor. To find her connecting flight, she called me 4 times briefly, using her ATM card on a regular pay phone. The rate that was applied for each call was $15.00 to "connect" plus $4.20 per minute. The calls were $35.97, $36.13, $39.96, and $51.93 for a total of $163.99. Regular calls from Germany to the US are a few cents per minute! Someone must make a killing! Who can put a stop to this ripoff of unsuspecting minors (and everyone else)???
