Glenwood Springs Colorado ripoff, dishonest when selling us this timeshare, promised things that never came about

When we bought into the timeshare, we were told that all the remodeling would be complete by summer of and all owner rooms would have working spa's and be available to timeshare owners only. We would not have to pay the maintenance fee for 2005 as a signing bonus.

After trying to make our first reservation, we were told that we could not because we did not pay the 2005 maintenance fee. Long story short, we had to pay that.

In July of after making reservations through the timeshare and using our points to spend a week in a owner room (and getting confirmation of a owners room), we were put into a crapy room that had duct taped carpet, no working spa and the beds were old uncomfortable and smelled badly.

We received no maid service, the timeshare was still under construction, and there were dogs in the pool. After asking why we were not put into the owners room that we had confirmation for, we were informed that those rooms were being used by currant owners.

We ran into one of the couples that were in a owners room, and they told us they were only in town for a few days, and they were not timeshare owners at all, they were put into that room buy the agent so they would buy into the timeshare.

The staff members were unpleasant, and unwilling to relocate us and other timeshare owners up there that week, who were also complaining of the same things we were.

We tried in vain to contact the person in charge to get the problem fixed. We never herd back from him or his agents. We ended up leaving 3 days early, our vaction being ruined.

I a letter explaining that I would no longer make any more payments and that I wanted out of the timeshare and all of my money be refunded. I never received a response from anyone.

Now come to find out they have sent us to collections and we are out of several thousands dollars, and our good credit. We just want out of this night mare, and at least half of our money returned.

I know several other owner there feel the same way, and I would love to get in contact with them to start legal action against this timeshare and there affiliates.
