How will Timesharemls.org rip you off Ripoff

I had a very brief association with www.timesharemls.org also doing business as www.timesharefsbo.com and with the corporate website at www.chlmarketing.com.

After a few days associated with this company I was disgusted by their sales tactics, or more properly stated—high pressure, misleading sales pitches.

This company is in the timeshare resale business, which as the General Manager of Timesharemls.org has stated, "this isn't a very clean business, everyone operates in the "gray" area". This pretty much means if you spend money with them to have your timeshare unit sold or rented you're pretty much screwed!

I had the dubious pleasure of being able to listen to the Sales Manager of this company make a call to a potential customer for training purposes. The customer was very obviously an elderly lady and of Bahamian origin as well. From the start it was easy to see that this very nice lady wasn no match for the fast talking well versed at the high pressure sale Sales Manager.

The sales manager threw out all sorts of information at the older woman seemingly confusing her to no end which is exactly what the sales manager wanted to have happen since it would make her job easier when it came time to get the credit card.

She asked the lady which resort she woned and when she was told the Sales Manger said in an excited voice, that's great, we have people waitined to rent units at this resort. Did the sales manager have an up to date list of people wanting to rent this resort. No, this was her answer to every resort owner. You could have owned a resort in the artic circle and she would tell you there were waiting lists of clients ready to rent out time there.

You may have noticed the Sales Manager is using "we will rent your unit" even though the company is a supposed reseller. She finds it is easier for her to use the "rent" approach instead of the sell approach.

The Sales Manager then tells the lady she can have her units rented out for a minimum of $1800 a week and all she needed was the lady's address so she could mail her checks for the times the unit was rented. Whenever the unit owner objected the Sales Manager would go back to, "you want to get $1800 for your unit every time it is rented, right? Then I need your mailing address".

Eventually she wore the older lady down and did manage to get here credit card. However, it declinded the $499 cost of the service. I would like to mention the only reason the Sales Manager was selling the service for $499 was because that's the most she thought she could get for it from this lady. He had a feeling the card wouldn't be able to hold more than that. If she felt this person was in a better financial position she would have sold it for $999 or possibly $799. You see, it's not how much the great company of timesharemls.org feels their service is worth that dictates the price it is how much moeny they feel they can get from you.

Once the Older lady's card declined for $499 the sales manager automatically asked for another card, yes, to add more money on another card that this woman couldn't afford anyway. The woman didn't have another card so the Sales Manager tried the drop tactic. She said we will put you on a payment plan, $299 and then 2 payments of $99, these declined as well.By the end the payment plan was dropped to $99 now and 4 payments of $99.

After observing this distasteful sales call and the pressuring of this older woman into doing something she didn't want to do I knew this wasn't a company to be working with.

The Sales Manager was asked after this process if she felt that maybe she worked this woman too hard and her reply was, "No, I did my job... I got the credit card". So you see, this company doesn't care about any service it will provide you with but is only concerned with how much money they can get from your credit card.

Am I a bitter ex employee that wants to ruin this company, no... I actually was going to operate an office for them but after seeing the inner workings I couldn't live with myself if I did what they did to make money. Although I did have expenses out of my pocket in opening the office I closed down very fast and took the loss. I'd rather have a clear conscience and lose some moeny then burn in hell on down the road just to make some money now.
