Any advance fee timeshare resale company is a scam, period! They call their advance fees by many names but if they want money up front they are scamming you.
They will say it is a marketing or advertising fee or various other nonsense but once they have that fee you won't hear from them again. Well, until they call you again under a different name stating how much better they are from that other resale company and they will get your property sold. All the while they are the exact same company that sold the first resale package to you.
If you are a timesharemls.org or timesharefsbo.com customer you have this to look forward to because they love reselling their old customers the same crap but under a different name. It's not uncommon for them to try and sell the same person 2,3 or more times either.
Once a company like timesharenls.org has gotten as much money as they can from a timeshare owner who wants nothing more than to get rid of their timeshare and those maintenance fees they will sell their name to another company and the whole process starts again.in the timeshare resale scam business the saying is if they bought once they'll buy again and again and again.
This sounds familiar right Howard, right Jon, right timesharemls.org, right timesharefsbo.com? Howard Levene and little howard aka Jonathon Warren know this tactic all too well. After all, Howard isn't a stranger to, shall we say, questionable sales tactics. Okay, he is no stranger to the Feds and the Feds only get to know you if something isn't right. Is Howard Levene a person to do business with? Or to buy anything from his companies? I think not... Unless you just like paying Howard and Jon nice salaries.
Oh they talk a good game about how they are the leader in the resale field and that they will answer their customers calls but they fall miserably short when it comes to actually doing what they are in business for... Helping you sell your timeshare.
Wait, my mistake, they are in the business of taking your money and giving you a worthless service in return.
Many people get scammed by these companies, timeshare owners lose millions of dollars each year at the hands of these companies. What must be done is to report them to the Florida Attorney General's Office or the AG's Office of which ever state they are located in.
Yes, the Attorney General's Office is already aware of these companies but if the get complaint after complaint from consumers that have been ripped off this will motivate the AG's to move faster to shut them down.
