At the Rose Bowl Flea Market I entered a drawing and got a call saying that i am one of 6 people who have been selected and that I am guaranteed a prize. I was told the prizes were 100K cash, my dream car, or one of 4 trips. I was told to schedule an appointment and come in to their location in Encino, CA. And only once the supervisor called to confirm was i told my husband and i would have to sit through a presentation/video. I ws skeptical before, but after being told about the seminar, I knew this was a scam.
I went online and read similar stories by others.
We will not go to "claim our prize" because it is a waste of time and i would never give these awful people the satisfaction.
I really wish legitimate establishments such as malls and the Rose Bowl would not allow a company like Pacific Monarch Resorts to solicit information from unsuspecting, innocent patrons and to scam people.
This really should be illegal.
