My husband and I joined Discount Global Travel in April.
We were promised like many others, great vacation deal. I First used Global Travel in booking a hotel in Nigara Falls. They gave me the price as I found on the internet. There was no discount like they had promised when we joined the club. There excuse to me was sometimes when booking hotels they can not give the discount.
Another time I tried to book airfare. There was no discount there neither. They gave me the same excuse, and also told me at this time there best discounts were with time shares.
I was not told this at the time of joining there travel club.
I was told how I would receive great deals on all my travel needs, including car rental.
Well, I tried to book a time share in costa rica, since they said this is where my best deal was. I week went by and they agent still did not call me back. I called for a couple of weeks and each time they said they were still working on it.
A little over a month went by and they finally called to say they found one.By this time I had already booked a cruise my self online.
I was one of the luckier ones from what I have read. My husband and I joined the club for a 10 year membership or $2500.00
I did not get $25 worth of membership in the 3 years we had been with the compay.
I hate to see this company go under a new name and rip more people off.
I would love to be part of a lawsuit after this company.
