On about September 12,06 I was contacted by Edwin Torres of Resorts International Unlimited regarding renting our timeshare. As we had just bought the time share last year and knew that we would not be using it this year, he offered to rent it out within 6 months or we would receive 2 free airline tickets.
I like many others thought this sounded like a great deal, so paid the "one lifetime fee " (of $895.00). Edwin took my credit card number that day and then within a few days, I received the information from them to verify my purchase. I sent the required form back in and have not heard a word from them since. I began emailing Edwin Torres on Feb 1,07 regarding if he has been able to rent out our timeshare yet. I have sent several emails to him last month, all of which have gone unanswered.
Since looking into this matter over the last month and reading other ripped off victims, I am very suspicious of this company and I chose to write to you to see if there is anything we can do to get our money back.
I want to help other people be aware of this fraudulant business.
Thank you.
