In some ways I feel relieved after reading people's complaint and sad at the same time as I realise now that I will not get my money back. The so called "Ramada Plaza Resort" sent me a coupon in a mail saying that I have won a $1600 cruise ticcket to Las Vegas. As I called them to find out more details, a girl called Terry, who seemed so nice... Told me the various aspects of the package and then attracted me by telling you have only this call to decide whether u want to go ahead or not with the package, she asked me for my card number while we were still trying to work out a deal. And I didnt realise she kept talking to me while she had already charged my card of $1000, WITHOUT MY AUHTORIZING THE PAYMENT... Once the money was gone to her she backtracked on her statements and told me that the cruise will not start from vancouver, which she had said earlier it would but I would have to fly all the way to Florida from Canada and then I can avail the package.
I was shocked and told her that all this while, she had been claiming otherwise. So I told her... That I do not want the package... But to my aghast she told me the payment had already gone through, so I asked her when was the payment made as we are still in the process of finalsing the deal... But she told me that the payment has been taken off my card, as to which i was Mad and told her to immediately refund my money, but she said its non-refundable. I asked her how could she charge me when the call isnt complete, we havent finalised a deal... But she wouldnt listen and hung up. Then I called back and spoke to some manager... He said he would refund my half the money only the rest i can keep as an account and use it anytime i like or transfer it to someone. But it's been a week now and there has been no refund... After reading everyone's complaint now i realise i will never get my $1,000 hard earned money back. I am very upset and MAd at this fraud company.
