In April I found charges for $2.95 and $99.00 on my credit card. My wife said she had accepted an offer of a "Road Wizard" for shipping and handling of $2.95 but had never received it and had not authorized the $99.00. I told her to call and cancel and get a refund.
When she called she talked to Rita who was very rude and said they would only give a partial refund. I called and talked to Sicily who was nice enough and apologized for Rita. She connected me to a supervisor who reluctantly authorized the refund.
I later found that they did not refund the $2.95. I called again and this time talked with Sicily. She was nice but said that the $2.95 was for the "Road Wizard". I informed her that we had never received anything from them and that I wanted the $2.95 refunded also.
I later found that the $2.95 had not been refunded. I called again and talked with Sicily. She said that the refund was "pending" and should show up on my credit card within the next 3 days. It didn't.
I called again, asking what "pending" meant. After talking with a supervisor she said that the hold up was on the credit card company end—that they had not accepted the refund yet. About a week later no refund had shown up.
I called the credit card company and they assured me that they never turned down refunds and had no record of the company sending such a refund. So here we are. I will call GTIMS back and confront them. This is taking too much time.
