Signed up to win a cruise at a travel show. Horizon Travel is a hard sell travel plan. To pick up the cruise I "won" and $50 free gasoline, I had to attend the sales meeting. It is almost impossible to get away without signing up for from $8,000 on down as you try to get out the door. Exremely hard sell. The travel and gas certificates require a $100 deposit which "will be returned" upon travel. Gas is to be in $10 increments over 5 months requiring much documentation. Following instructions = no money just money and time wasted on postage. After cashing the $100 check, received 1 piece of paper from VIP. No e-mail, no fax, telephone messages always full. No answer to letter. No way to get information (options, dates, ships). No way to get $100 refund. If invited to a Horizon Travel pitch, DO NOT ATTEND. MAJOR RIP OFF Should not be allowed booths at legitimate travel shows. I would be happy to join any class action suit.
