I stayed at this hotel without reservations. I was there for three days until I couldn't take the staff or filth anymore. It looked ok at first glance but the longer I was there the worse it got. The first morning I woke up at 7am to the housekeeping staff yelling back and forth between rooms to each other and playing loud music. Then they banged on my door to ask me if I was leaving even with the "Do not disturb" sign up. Then I left for the day and they never cleaned my room anyway.

The next morning the same thing happened with the maids, who don't speak english, don't wear uniforms, or appear to be of legal age to be working either. That day they came in and replaced my towels with the most dirty towels I've ever seen.

The next morning I was woke up again, this time the maids set my alarm clock to blare spanish music at 7am. So that day they came in and brought in towels that were even more dirty than the last. It honestly looks like they remove towels and linens from a room, dry them without washing, and put them back on the shelf for the next person. We got in late that night and figured we would take it up with the front desk in the morning. Since we were on vacation we slept late and just before 11am my son who has asthma woke up coughing because our non-smoking room was filled with smoke from the maids airing out the rooms across the hall.

That was it, we had enough. My wife went down to the desk with a handful of dirty towels at 11:15am and said we wanted to checkout due to the filthy conditions of what is advertised as a brand new hotel. And since it was only 15 mins. Past checkout and it was because of the conditions of the hotel, we did not want to pay for the 4th day. After arguing with her to get the manager on the phone, he called her and said to leave the keys at the desk and he would take care of it.

By then it was 12:50. He then called my cell phone finally around 4pm and told me since I checked out at 12:50 he was charging me. When I told him of the filth and staff problems he called me a liar and said his hotel was brand new. I told him the ceiling was coming down in the stairwell, how could it be new? He then said "We had a disaster you dumb b#tch!". And then proceeded to curse me out. He then said "I'll charge your credit card a $1000 b#tch." And proceeded to do just that, he got it up to $820 before I was able to cancel it.

I can not believe this guy manages a business. I filed a complaint with Days Inn corporate and when I called back to check on the progress, they said I called with a compliment and read off the great things I supposedly said! So the whole time I was telling them what happened, they were typing whatever they wanted. Looking them up on yahoo, this guy has a history of doing this. The hotel was also built in although it looks much older, but it is not "New".

I'm still trying to get those charges removed from my credit card but once you give them your number they can basically charge whatever they want and it's not considered fraud, just a billing dispute. The managers name is Sam Hira, AKA Shirish Hira, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid all Days Inn hotels.
