Ramada Hotel ripoff mistreated and ripped off

Months prior to taking my vacation, I reserved two rooms on the Internet and called to verify my reservations. On November 18, I arrived at The Ramada Resort on 7400 International Drive in Orlando, Fl. I asked the young lady at the service desk about my reservations that I had reserved months in advance. She replied, I was not in the system and I ask her, Are she sure. She said yes.

I left and drove down the street to see if there was another Ramada close by, it was not. After driving around for an hour, I called the hotel back and gave them my name again. The woman on the phone said, You have reservations. I went back to the hotel and a white young male assisted me and he said, You are not in the computer. As an older black woman came from the back, she said, Were you the person I talked to on the phone, I said yes. She looked up my information. The white male said, Someone else is already in those rooms, so he gave me two other rooms.

I was directly on the west side of the main office. I checked in on Nov. 18 and out on Nov. 20. I reserved the rooms on my credit card so at check out I wanted to pay cash. The assistant said she would refund my credit card and put as cash. She also told me to throw away my credit card slip because she was doing the transaction as cash. I did what she asked. A couple of weeks later, I checked my account and it did not seem to be correct.

I called First Union to hear my last transactions. I had a transaction for $758.00 for Ramada, so I called up First Union and The Ramada. For two weeks First Union and I left several messages on different voice mails of personnel at the hotel. No one responded. I finally went online to Ramada's site and put in my complaint.

The main office finally responded and my money was credited back to my account. Last month the bank did a reverse transaction, due to some receipts that the Ramada had sent to them with proof of my signature. I am requesting a copy of those receipts. I asked The Ramada for a copy of these receipts but they denied my request. The hotel's accounting representative, Yolanda said she could not give me that information. Please research this dispute immediately!!!

Amount Disputing - $794.00 for multiple transactions plus the $260.00 that was taken from my account when I paid cash.

Room Cost - $55.00 taxes = Approx. $65.00 a night: 2 rooms for 2 nights= Approx. $260.00 (Dates Nov. 18-20)
*Note one transaction was for 58.43 on Nov. 27 and I was not even on vacation at this time. I do not have a copy of the receipt so I am requesting a copy of the sales draft. I think the service representative may have given my rooms to someone else and mixed up the information upon checkout time.
